Creating the Magic

12:56 pm July 2, 2012

If you are new to our blog, then you should know that the one word most read about here on our blog space and the one word most said in our office space on a regular basis is magic.

We’re all adults here, but as they say, growing old is mandatory and growing up is optional. So why not create your day, your life and your environment to be a magical one?

Let’s start at the beginning. The word ‘magic’ as a noun has a meaning of a quality that makes something seem removed from everyday life, esp. in a way that gives delight. As an adjective, the word can mean wonderful and exciting.

Close your eyes.

Magic comes from creation. And to be able to create a business where people enjoy waking up in the morning to go to their job is magical in itself. Add a tablespoon of childhood memories mixed with four cups of beads, jewels and string, and you got yourself an Alter Ego by Erika Walton, one-of-a-kind, uniquely miraculous piece.

After you are done imagining that, open your eyes.

That place is real. It can be real for you, too. Create a structure that you can reference on a weekly—daily—hourly basis. Create something that you and your team can play together to constantly move –the business—your family—whatever it is you have at stake— FORWARD.

For every “no” there is someone waiting to say “yes.”

If we have nothing else to live for but the present, while creating the future of our dreams, then create magic.
